Breathing Techniques

Breath is a free tool we all have access to. Every session starts with breath work to practice using it properly. When our heart rate increases during the workout, we use our breath to bring it down.

Get a killer workout done in a low-impact environment without any wear or tear. We provide a safe and unique alternative to other high-impact training programs.

meet your instructor

Trent Williams

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Trent Williams has been in the Bay Area for over 12 years. Trent swam at UC Berkeley from 2012 to 2016. While there he had the opportunity to train with future world record holders and be coached by future Olympic coaches. He was part of the National Championship-winning team in 2014 and earned First Team All-American Honors in 2015 & 2016. He swam in the Olympic Trials in 2012 and 2016, placing 17th in the 200 free in 2016. After college swimming, Trent found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the legendary Ralph Gracie San Francisco. He’s been training and competing for the last 7 years, using what he learned from his time in the pool to excel in the gentle art. Professionally, Trent is an EMT in the city with the goal of becoming a firefighter for the San Francisco Fire Department.

Deep End Fitness is a Veteran-founded company that’s making major waves in the swim, fitness, and military communities. The founders, Prime Hall and Don Tran, developed a unique hybrid approach that encompassed the pool, lifting and functional fitness, and most importantly - mindset training and how to navigate adversity and stay calm under pressure.

 FAQs

  • Deep End Fitness was designed for the non-swimmers to get more comfortable in and around the water. We pride ourselves on running an extremely safe and effective program that is suitable for all by implementing 5 layers of safety to every session.

  • We start the circle of trust and breathwork at the listed start time. We hit the water 15 minutes later and spend around 90 minutes in the pool.

  • You need to bring a swimsuit, mask or goggles, towel, and a good attitude!
