classes

What to expect

Sessions include community building, breathwork, and workouts that incorporate land based exercises with pool based movements. All levels of water confidence are welcome, all we ask is that you come ready to dive into the deep end!

Circle of Trust and Breath Work

All sessions start with a circle of trust to get to know each other and share goals for the session. We then get into breath work to prime our systems for the pool. New folks will do a water confidence assessment and get an overview of Deep End’s B.S.A.F.E and F.R.E.E.

1

Warm-Up & Skill Sets

We get moving in the water swimming, kicking, and breath control. Afterwards, skills sets may include a mix of breath control and movement drills that build water confidence. All drills are done at your own pace within your own skill limits.

2

Workout of the Day

The workouts of the day typically are a 15 - 25 minute set of swimming, breath control, and movements on the pool deck. A WOD may include exercises like burpees, squats, or push ups followed by a swim, tread and/or a breath hold.

3

Underwater Torpedo League

Underwater torpedo league was invented by the Deep End Fitness founders. DEF sessions help train water confidence and UTL is our chance to put that confidence to the test. At the end of Deep End Sessions, we offer the option to practice UTL as a group!
